was invited to join a friend and some others to go check out mortified SF. the basic premise of this live show is people reading embarrassing old diary entries from their youth. typically its a few random brave souls from the local area who read however this event was special bc one of the readers was Retta (aka Donna on Parks & Recs).
the show was hilarious, listening to people talk about embarrassing moments in their lives. what made the show even more hilarious was a improv music duo who would sing a short song about each reader, highlighting some of the funnier moments in their reading. to end the show, there was a short q&a session with Retta. overall, it was an awesome show and a cool way to spend my friday night other than the typical night of going to the movies or a bar. i would highly recommend anyone checking it out.
